Hawkins Group – Christchurch

Hawkins Groups in Christchurch approached our Workplace Solutions Manager, Helen Dennis, for some assistance with an under utilised space in their reception area.

Hawkins had a vision for creating an informal meeting space in their reception area. They worked with Helen to design a piece of furniture that would make best use of the space and it was important for it to offer visual and accoustic privacy.

The high backed booth ticks both of those boxes for this bespoke project, and it has provided the opportunity for Hawkins to add pops of colour into the space with the grey and orange fabric choices.

The booth has optimised a space that was not being used and staff and visitors are making themselves at home in the setting at every opportunity.

This project is a great example of how to revive under used areas within your workspace that can serve as breakout and collaborative zones. By adding 2 pieces of functional furniture, Hawkins have created a really valuable work area.

This particular Booth Seating is comprised of the following features:

2000 W x 1470 H (incl legs) x 690 D
It features lumbar support across the back and Pellegrini legs

The fabric combination is Beachcomber Graphite on the outside and Ashcroft Orange on the inside and seat pad.

We've had feedback from Hawkins that the booth is well utilised and that it's added new life into a previously unused space.
