Sit to stand is good, but what we really need to think about is movement because sitting OR standing for too long isn’t great for us. We need to move often and sit well.
A lot of investment is being made into height adjustable and sit to stand furniture so we need to ensure we’re empowering users of that furniture to utilise it in a functional and healthy way. All it takes is an hour a day of standing to chip away at the challenges our bodies face from sitting for long periods.
